Makes 12 servings
1 medium onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 lbs. of ground chuck or ground turkey
2 cups water
2 16 oz. cans black or kidney beans (drained)
2 6 oz. cans tomato paste
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. ground red pepper
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup Nu-World Amaranth Snackers- chili
lime or BBQ sweet n sassy
In a large pot, combine onion, bell pepper, and
ground chuck. Cook over medium heat until cooked
through and no longer pink.
To cook meat mixture, add remaining ingredients
and mix well. Simmer over low heat at least 30
minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Add in
snackers.
